Before the World Wide Web not much business to business selling happened without communication between people. If you communicate with other people in your selling activities today you still need to be as good at relating to people, if not better than in the days before the WWW. Selling face to face and online  is not the same thing. It may well be a case of age before beauty! Good sales people learn from what they do and in doing so gain experience because selling is a hard skill to learn from a book.

There may be no such thing as a free lunch anymore, but there is such a thing as free sales advice. There is free advice on just about anything these days. However what may be right for Western Australia may not work in another state or country. On the contrary things that work well in other places may also work well here in Western Australia.

I am an independent Sales Consultant who has sold overseas and interstate. I currently work in Western Australia for individual businesses as a sales advisor, and also work for Management Consulting companies that help businesses grow their business. In these roles I experience different sales activities, processes, sales people, sales skills and many other activities that professional selling encompasses.
